General Barry McCaffrey (U.S. Army Retired) on MSNBC just said Fort Hood is the “largest concentration of military combat power in the U.S.” He speculated that this could be a crime (robbery, drug deal, etc.) gone bad.

That’s actually vaguely plausible. The biggest Mexican drug gang consists of former Mexican soldiers that were trained by the USA in counter-insurgency tactics. Well-trained, well armed.
That said, I suspect, with 2 or more, it’s Jihadi Joe taking to our Homefont.
