Great parallell. Christianity is clearly a religion of peace and love like no other. But I must point out one flaw. It’s predicated on the Old Testament and the old law is pretty harsh towards adulterers, too.
Sorry, but you are in error about Christianity being predicated on the Old Testament .
The majority of church doctrine is based on the Epistles of Paul.
The Church is not known in the Old testament at all nor did it come into existence till the Book of Acts.
Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
As for dealing with adultery it is dealt with as any other sin if you repent and seek forgiveness:
Joh 8:4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
We are under grace, not law so, it is dealt with differently.
Joh 8:5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
Joh 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
Joh 8:10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? Joh 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her
