MADISON, Wis. (Reuters) - A year after his historic election, President Barack Obama sought to remind Americans on Wednesday the biggest problems he is grappling with -- from the economy to the war in Afghanistan -- are the legacy of his predecessor, George W. Bush. With his approval ratings down from once-lofty levels and Tuesday's Democratic election losses raising questions about his political clout, Obama held no special ceremony to mark the anniversary of his election as America's first black president.

Recall the mess that Ronald Reagan inherited from that knob Jimmy Carter. I don’t recall ever hearing Reagan piss and moan the way this man-child does. He knew what the job was when he took it now he wants to vote present. If it’s too much for you just do us a favor and resign.
Clinton made at least one comment about not knowing how bad the economy was before he took office. But I think that was about it.
And we know he was lying because he ran on the economy, “it’s the economy stupid,” remember?
When will he man up and take any responsibility for what is going on NOW? What a whining crybaby, no class at all. I guess the buck (if there are any bucks left), zooms right past him and stops in the pockets of the taxpayers.
It appears none of his union friends or former bombers/racist radical buddies bothered to tell him he was supposed to take responsibility as president, not just bask in the glow of his fabulousness.
He claims to have saved the economy? He’s built a government subsidized house of cards.
I can’t figure out why people thought he could accomplish anything in the first place. He never had a job that required him to do anything except get crowds together to support him so he could advance himself even further. I guess that would describe most of Washington. Maybe this is the problem. No, couldn’t be.
I cannot believe it has been a year. Good Lord almighty he has done nothing but blame Bush. I have spoken with some that actually voted for him and were diehard and they are sick of him. I am so sick of his campaign and scream preaching speeches on what he inherited.
His poll numbers are sinking and he can’t find a boogeyman.
Not Bush, Rush or Fox News.
That and when Gibbs was asked about the dem loss last night and he blah blah blahed with bullcrap WHY DID NOT ONE REPORTER CITE OBAMA’S POLL NUMBERS to Gibbs?
Just...stop...whining
Time to grow up Obama.
Rush is right...Obama is a Man Child.
I think at this point that it is pathological. He cannot find fault in himself but cannot accept the imperfections in others. This is clearly a personality disorder. He appears to have the same personality disorder that most tyrants have.
All you had to do was read the first line of the story to know that it’s from overseas.
American reporters are not permitted to write stories like this.
Sorry Barry, that dog won’t hunt anymore. The campaign has been over for a year now. You are in the driver’s seat. Start making some damned decisions little boy.
“He said his administration had acted swiftly to save the economy from “imminent collapse.”
Yeah, right. An economy troubled by activists like himself who organized, promoted, legislated and sued for lending practices that were unsound, and further burdened from post-modern laissez faire highly leveraged derivative investment schemes and swaps by a fast and loose part of the finance community that poured and bundled contributions into his and his party’s political survival.
I have several bones to pick with George W. Bush, but I never heard him whine or complain about how unfair it all was to him.
Obama needs to man up.
Doing the globalist elite’s bidding one more time...
...Obama is such a loyal puppet.
