I was able to get some face time with my congressman. While i was there, a couple of phone calls came into his office. The office worker that took the phone calls was surfing the internet or email friends while he was supposed to be taking the names of constituents.
It seems that emails and phone calls are being ignored. The best things to do are to write letters (flood them with snail mail) or get some actual face time and show up at their offices. Put a face with the issue and threaten to vote them out of office next election period. My group made it clear that he would be voted out.

It might be too late for snail mail IF they vote on the bill tomorrow, but for folks who can, they can go in person as you did, and hand deliver their letter.
I wrote an antiPelosicare letter to the editor, which was published in the newspaper today in the town of my congressperson’s office, and asked readers to call their congresspersons.

My representative not only drinks the kool aid he makes it. Anyway, Andre Carson's office answers and the contact is polite. I asked for Mr. Carson to use the public plan if he was going to force it on me. Also, read the bill.
