I don’t think it helped much that Hoffman looked and sounded more like Wally Cox, than he did Ronald Reagan ;-)
Yeah, I noticed that the only picture of Hoffman that ever got shown, even by FOX, was one where his Pencil-neck geekiness was fully on display. HOWEVER, we’re always talking about trying to field regular people and not would-be career politicians for positions as Congressmen, so we shouldn’t expect Ronald Reagan. If he’s still interested, and I think he is, there are many things that can be done to highlight what will be shown to be the partisan crassness of Owens. Too bad I don’t live anywhere near there or I’d try to be involved. All those who were tied to Obama’s coattails are now falling away-—witness the two Gubernatorial upsets—my favorite being in my own state of NJ.
