"This time around, however, the candidate will not be chosen by the eleven county chairmen meeting in a pizza restaurant." and "Hoffman showed poorly in that process, ranking seventh or eighth out of nine candidates in the eyes of almost every county chairman."
How are these eleven county chairmen chosen? Considering the fallout of this election and their choice to place a very liberal RINO as the R Candidate, doesn't that alone call into question their ability to lead? It certainly causes me to pause in reading the second statement above about what these eleven were even using as their criteria for chosing a candidate. Was Hoffman really that bad as they suggest meaning his election results could be artificial? Or should we be led to believe his endorsers (Palin, the Thompson's, et al) who spoke so highly of him?
