"Today, I again seek to act for the good of our community,"
"It is increasingly clear that pressure is mounting on many of my supporters to shift their support. Consequently, I hereby release those individuals who have endorsed and supported my campaign to transfer their support as they see fit to do so. I am and have always been a proud Republican. It is my hope that with my actions today, my party will emerge stronger and our district and our nation can take an important step towards restoring the enduring strength and economic prosperity that has defined us for generations."
It was the right thing to do. Thanks, DeDe, for stepping back.
Gingrich is TOAST! Palin is the FUTURE.
She is now asking her supprters to vote Democrat. This is the type of behavior that led to the invention of the guillotine.
You’re right, Crist is next. Go Marco!!!
Did you mean Hoffman (the "conservative?), or Owens (the Democrat)?
Owens.
That said, the polls today are encouraging. I would LOVE to be dead wrong on this....and may actually be tomorrow.
That said, there is a large group of undecideds now...if they mostly break hoffman or just stay home, hoffman wins.
I heard Ray Arroyo this morning, subbing for Laura Ingraham, say that this district is strongly Republican and has elected only Republicans since the Civil War. Therefore, it is surprising to see the Dem polling as well as he is. I think it depends on how strong the backlash will be to the type of tactics that ousted Scozzafava.
If Hoffman wins, he is actually an unknown, has no track record in elected office or in conservative organizations. How did he receive so many “endorsements?”
