"Today, I again seek to act for the good of our community,"
"It is increasingly clear that pressure is mounting on many of my supporters to shift their support. Consequently, I hereby release those individuals who have endorsed and supported my campaign to transfer their support as they see fit to do so. I am and have always been a proud Republican. It is my hope that with my actions today, my party will emerge stronger and our district and our nation can take an important step towards restoring the enduring strength and economic prosperity that has defined us for generations."
lol...you gotta good memory dear.
She has my respect for that move. Good job!

Think it will help any?
Thanks!
Oh, BABY!!! You better believe they hear us now.
It’s what they are going to do about it that worries me.

I hope New Yorkers will be happy with the outcome now, however they achieved it.
No it does not. If she were the "classylady" she would have put her support behind Hoffman.
Many that were going to vote for her will now vote for the democrat. Absentee ballots have also already gone out and probably already sent back.
How she can serve it by running and also by not running remains a question.
“but have to give the RINO credit for doing the right thing.”
She didn’t do it voluntarily; she was forced out, with great reason!
Now for the aho’s who nominated her! Throw them out, too, NOW!
Steele had no chice but to support the Republican candidate. The NY Republican Party nominated her.
Well.......it helped me laugh :)
>> Steele was head of the party ... he couldn’t come out against [Scozzafava]. The same cannot be said for Newt.
That makes sense.
teehee!...like an elephant.
The headline says she threw her support to Hoffman but the body of the article doesn’t.
ding we have a winner! there needs to be a makeover of the gop pure and simple. If the gop is going to be like the dems only the lite version what good are they. The head of the gop should be asking questions and demanding answers like Beck.To think that newt supported a prochoice candidate after just becoming a Catholic shows where his true loyalty is, his personal opinion, rather than church teaching and his political views. I have no respect for him anymore.
I’m concerned about the armies of leftists descending on the area. I hope Ryan gets his poll watchers on full alert, with cellphones and backup teams. He knows what he’s doing, but massive voter fraud can overwhelm the righteous.
Give her a break....she did the right thing this time.
Hopefully not too little too late.
