I was early to Reagan's campaign for the 1980 nomination. That was happenstance, I just bumped into the right people. Do you know who I found working already in '78? Mormons, Gol darn Mormons everywhere. They already had a full organization set up and running. They were the origional Reaganites.

If anyone wants to find the future of conservativism and the future of the Republican Party, they need look no further than Utah. I say that with a bit of jealousy because they've taken the lead where we should have.

There isn't a darn thing wrong with your people or your religion. Keep your head up.

May God bless.

Yes, there were 16 Mormons in Reagans close associates and cabinet.
Thanks for the confirmation.
God Bless you for the kind words.

(Yeah, that's why we had the Mormon church in Salt Lake City Tuesday supporting the city's agenda to force businessmen to hire cross-dressers & every manner of "sexual orientation" & tell landlords they have to participate in the sins of others by sanctioning every manner of "sexual orientation" lifestyles on their property...all because that's the "future of conservatism" eh?)
