I generally do avoid the threads, as I find the conclusions drawn by GGG to be questionable at best. However, the frequency of his postings ensures that at least one of his threads is on the Latest Posts page almost constantly.

I think he posts these threads to try to trap those who do not believe in YEC into a pseudo-debate. After that, he often pings the mods to come to his defense. I find this practice distasteful. After watching multiple instances of this strategy, I found it impossible not to highlight it.

O.K. I rather enjoy the subject matter and so forth and I don’t have to agree with all the conclusions drawn to do so. But some don’t, so be it. Cheers!
