Rep. Pete King (R-N.Y.) endorsed GOP special-election candidate Dede Scozzafava on Monday, saying a vote for her Conservative Party opponent is tantamount to a vote for the Democrats in the close 23rd Congressional District race in New York.
. . . . .
In a statement, King made the case that voting for Hoffman will only help Democrat Bill Owens win.
"Dede is the only Republican candidate in this race, and the only candidate with a proven record that Republicans can trust in Washington," King said. "A vote for either of her opponents is a vote for Nancy Pelosi and her far-left, radical agenda."

Hey GOP! A nomination of a RINO is a vote for the Dems. Even if the Republican wins, she'll turn on you faster than you can say "Olympia Snowe".

I don't know which is worse from our elected officials, their arrogance, or their stupidity.

Don’t buy that for a second. Voting for the GOP backed idiot will guarantee a Democratic win.

It is heart warming {sarcasm} to see that the conservative, republican, and right to life parties are still at each others’ throats in my home state. Me personally, for the last fifteen or so years, I vote straight down conservative party.

The Democrat is less Liberal than the Republican.
Since I could care less about how many perks “republicans” get it doesn’t matter to me if a “republican” wins King.
In order of preference for me it goes Hoffman then The Democrat if only to embarrass the elite wing of the party plus it leaves the Republican slot open for a primary next year, and then....nobody.
To: Lexington Green
First you beat the RINOs. THEN you beat the Dems There was no primary. The RINO was hand-selected by the party pooh-bahs.
Hoffman is a registered Republican and will caucus with the Republicans in Congress. The real 3rd party candidate is Dede if you look at it.

Just curious: Do you people ever put up any candidates that actually win contested elections or is it your exclusive province to sit on your fat asses until just before election day, then petulantly profane the nominally Republican candidate?

Dede should do the right thing and bow out so the Democrat won’t win.

Agreed, I am no longer a republican. I vote for the best candidate. I don't give money to any party but I do financially support candidates that are conservative.

The Democrat is less Liberal than the Republican.Oh really?
Look, I'm supporting Hoffman in this case but let's do away with the propaganda that the stealth Democrat will be anything but the Pelosi voting Marxist that they always turn out to be.

Just about what I told the GOP caller today who asked for financial help for “the party”. I will never again allow any party to use my contributions to support someone who doesn’t reflect my conservative views. I told the caller that we are/have/and will continue to support individuals who are conservative and who work FOR America’s interests and will do so privately.
The GOP might want to thank McCain, Graham, Snowe, Specter and the other idiots for opening so many eyes to the fact that party affiliation means nothing unless your heart is in it.
