Another thing.......winning in VA will be valuable, of course, but it will be brushed off as VA being basically a red state except for the last election, so move along folks, nothing to see here. What would be huge would be to win in NJ, but I seriously doubt that will happen. The presence of Daggett in the race assures a Corzine win. NJ has been reliably blue, so a win there would have been an earthquake, but a pub win in VA - not so much.

What I was referring to was a Republican sweep in VA. Gov, LtGov, and Att General could all go to the GOP. I agree that Christie is probably not going to be able to pull it out, especially when Corzine starts outspending him 5 to 1. If Christie somehow wins that the Democrats might as well start looking for a new party chairman and leadership in both the Senate and the House. Because that scenario would be truly cataclysmic.
