It seems to me that the subject-verb agreement is days and numbered and America's serves as a modifier. Can't say for certain, though. "Are Barack's friends anti-American?" I would answer: "Yes. Barack's friends ARE anti-American!" But, I'd welcome corrections.

You are correct. The subject verb agreement is 'Are' and 'days'.

The original title of the thread was: "Is America's days numbered?".

Evidently the moderator fixed the typo in the title.
