I remember "Be prepared" was one of the cub scout mottos. The fact that he carried around a survival kit in his car says a lot about his scouting experience and the influence it has had on his life.

Now...let's compare that with how public school "prepares" our children today. They are practically treated like prison inmates, many are exposed to violence and sexual abuse at the hands of their fellow classmates and school administrators (and teachers)...education is optional.

From the school district's June 2007 policy regarding conducted on school property by students and visitors:

"...the possession or use of a weapon of any kind or any other objection [sic] that reasonably can be considered a weapon."

So, possessing an "objection" is an offense. QED: The dirty, smelly, leftist hippies running the school board have prohibited free speech, including "objections!" < /sarcasm>
