DeVore assails Schwarzenegger, Fiorina

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Chuck DeVore said Monday night Republicans would repeat the mistake they made in supporting Arnold Schwarzenegger for governor if they back former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina for the Senate.

In a speech to the Republican Party of San Diego County, DeVore, a three-term Assembly member from Irvine who cannot run for re-election because of term limits, denounced Schwarzenegger for signing a gun control bill and one establishing a day of recognition for slain gay-rights leader Harvey Milk.

"We were told in 2003 that it was important in this historic one-of-a-kind recall that we take a chance on somebody who had not really established a record within our ranks, either as a Republican or as a conservative," DeVore said. "A lot of us have been regretting it ever since."

"It's relevant because we're hearing the same story from the same people as to why we should take a chance on another individual with no public policy experience," he said as he assailed Fiorina for supporting the Wall Street bailout and President Barack Obama's economic stimulus package.

Yea, we heard the same sort of nonsense when it was Arnold vs. McClintock.

Unless you're blind, you should be able to see the results of choosing the "Moderate"(Arnie) vs. the conservative(McClintock).

Never accept substitues!

Always vote for the true conservative, if given a choice.

I would prefer that the candidates stick to the issues, rather than broad-based attacks (Fiorina is the SAME as Arnold!!!). If you can’t get the voters to support you on the issues, then go quietly....

WOW. AS SOMEONE WHO LIVES IN CALIFORNIA, YOUR THINKING SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ME.

I WARNED THE RINOS ON THIS WEBSITE THAT THERE WAS ONLY ONE REPUBLICAN — TOM MCCLINTOCK — IN THIS RACE. WE ARE PAYING FOR THAT AUSTRIAN LOSER — AND PANTYWAIST — EVERY DAY. Please change your tagline — you really don’t want a choice.
