You just totally nuked your credibility with that link to that website.
It’s clearly written by someone whose agenda is to discredit any thing the Bible has to say about anything.
That’s as bad as the theocracy links that coyoteman used to post.
The whole business of literal interpretation of the Bible has been explained to you before and you still refuse to get it.
You’re clearly going to believe what you want to believe about creationists and Bible interpretation and obviously nothing anyone can say is going to change your mind.
Sure, there is no doubt about the agenda. Nevertheless, the Biblical references are genuine - when I used them for the first time, I checked them with the KJV Bible. So, the agenda is irrelevant to the conclusion: if you want to defend the literal interpretation of Genesis, you should not shy away from the flat Earth belief either. Conversely, if you defend these flat, unmovable Earth-related passages with arguments of “allegorical/poetic meaning” or “simplicity”, then the same possibility should be allowed in the case of Genesis.
My friend H. is a little like this fellow. H. is smart but he just doesn’t know what he’s talking about most of the time. He tries to find gold mines by swinging a pendulum over maps and is sure space aliens are buying up all the baby food in stores. Other than the many gems like that he firmly believes, he’s a pretty smart guy. Nuts but smart.
Thanks for the pings!
