Fair enough, although I try to limit myself to the topic of the day.
The hurricane was an adventure. We got hit harder than New Orleans ~ Katrina.
We didn't cry. We fixed it.
New Orleans is a big bowl and still sinking. No matter what they do, they aren’t keeping a Cat 5 out of there.
We don’t cry here either.The next morning people are out with chainsaws, everyone helping each other. Whining doesn’t help. If the power is out, we all empty our freezers and start cooking. We take turns. If you live on or near the water, you will eventually live in it. It’s just a fact of life. We got lucky this year. One of the slowest seasons in years. Hopefully, we are back to the pattern we had from the mid 70’s to the late 80’s. for almost 20 years they pretty much missed us.
