Ask the kiddies this. The Aztecs murdered 20,000 people a year, so was it good or bad that they were defeated?

Is that a historically accurate number ? What's the reliable source for this ?

Read up on the Taíno’s and ask ‘was it good or bad’ that their numbers, in a short period of time after Columbus ‘discovered’ them and
"There I found very many islands, filled with innumerable people, and I have taken possession of them all for their Highnesses, done by proclamation and with the royal standard unfurled..." - went from an estimated 3,000,000 to 600? Some by disease brought by the whites, but tens of thousands enslaved and slaughtered.
Was it good or bad that they died by the tens of thousands at the hands of the Spanish?
