Good morning, rodguy. I’m afraid this will be a painful week for the cause, as the Obama medicine is going to go down. (The taxpayer/citizen gullet that is, not in defeat.) What’s next, a cap’n’trade chaser?

Like the Chinese farmer who didn’t know whether it was a good thing or not that his son was spared the war, it’s hard for me to know whether these are necessary defeats for winning back Congress, the Presidency and our country.

Chart 5 shows the nearly perfect correlation between GDP and tax revenues. Despite major fluc tuations in income tax rates, long-term tax revenues have grown at almost exactly the same rate as GDP, remaining between 17 percent and 20 percent of GDP for 46 of the past 50 years.

Oh, I don't know, Rod. He's a big liar, but the driveby media simply doesn't call him, nor any of the democrats on their constant bold faced lies. If they were Republicans! Ha! It would be all over the front pages like Abu Ghraib.

If they were truly journalists, instead of propagandists, they'd calll him out on his numerous lies and he'd have to stop or turn it down quite a bit.

Ah, answering my own question.....it semms he helped write the stimulus bill (according to Chris Wallace). Of course he thinks it's working!

WOW!!! Steve Wynn is slamming Zandi - "the economists have had their moment".....essentially they are clueless. Lays out plans how government could help with TAX policies to encourage private business.
