I think this is a composite of a number of elements.
ok...my last obsessive comment about this photo. Stanley’s floating hand actually DOES look like HIS hand (look at his other hand), but if his arm was ever raised, you would think there would be a crease in the shoulder blade of his jacket.
Ok...I am done with this mysterious, altogether poorly-contrived, complicated photo that made it into the NYT with a floating hand.
Fred, why do you think they would do that? What would be the purpose. The picture seems sort of irrelevant to me. What am I missing? What is the big deal about them going to NY?
