Remember all these children on Dec 28th which is the Feast of the Holy Innocents. At St Anthony's Home for Infants in KC( the facility closed years ago) at the orphanage kids were not given gifts at Christmas. They each got a gift on Dec 28th, The Feast of the Holy Innocents...these were abandoned children, of which I was one ( I was born a day too late for the celebration). The true meaning of the feast is for those infants who were murdered by order of King Herod in order to ensure the Christ child was killed.
Thank you. It is a date that is very dear to my husband and me ... our fourth child was miscarried on that day in 1988 and when I explained the feast day to my agnostic brother, he was surprisingly touched. In fact, I almost thought we had a conversion of sorts on our hands, but it wasn't meant to be (just yet!) ...

Keep praying about this. In my dad’s family, an uncle made a death bed conversion after years of prayers offered by his wife.
Sincere sympathy on the loss of your little one. That ache never really subsides. Just remember you have a wee small protector watching over you. Jesus said “suffer the children unto me” so you can take solace knowing Whose lap your child sits upon.
