In one fell swoop, the Nobel Prize jury just made a mockery of the world’s most revered honor and handed Barack Obama’s opponents a great talking point. They wounded two doves with one stone.

Do the folks in Oslo realize what a gift they just gave to the Republicans, who have been hammering away at what they view as Obama’s weak-kneed foreign policy, at his flying all over the planet to curry favor while he (in their analysis) neglects the economy and capitulates on basic American national security interests?

Thanks to the Nobel committee, less than a year into his presidency he’s President of the World, a label he won’t be able to shake.

OBAMA, THE PRIZE

Awoke this morning to the news (some are calling it "stunning") that Idiot in Chief has been awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace. Yawn... I'm underwhelmed.

Radio show host Michael Graham sums it up:

What do Yasser Arafat and Obama have in common? They both hung out with anti-Semites who think Israel should be pushed into the sea.

Oh, yeah—and they both were given the Nobel Prize for Peace.

Barack Obama has brought peace to the world by giving it an America that does what it’s told.

What this "prize" award means is that Obama now joins Woodrow Wilson and Teddy Roosevelt -- the other presidents who have won while in office -- all progressive socialists. Other presidents who were awarded? Algorical and... wait for it... Jimmah!

So Obama has been awarded Nobel. Fitting. Validation by the Globalists. A Prize for their prize. Yeah. He's a prize all right...

Yes, Brown will mock Obama if he thinks it will win him politial capital, but Sarkozy will mock him because he actually does feel disdain for Obama.

Here's a question that, at least to me, is very important - who nominated Obama for the Nobel prize and who was instrumental in this win?

I just pray he listens to McChrystal. Too many lives are being lost while he woos Copenhagen and accepts meaningless awards and rams Healthcare down people’s throats. Why no rush on a definite strategy?
