I am a fat person. A nutritionist has monitored my eating. You know what? I am not a prodigious eater. In fact, my current food choices are, if anything, bulkier than my old and I have lost 50 pounds “eating more.” It is what you eat, how your body reacts, and how active you are that matter. What works for me is likely not to work for you.

You and people like you are the exceptions. In my opinion, formed by years of observation, most obese people would rather eat a ton than lose weight. They won’t admit it but it is true. They also lie to themselves about the amount they eat. Every fat person I know eats like a horse. While I was not obese, I was heading in that direction. I finally decided to lose the weight and lost 30 pounds. I am amazed now by how much less I eat than before. I also find it fascinating to watch my overweight relatives eat.
