SOOOO- you are saying that each and every child born on a military base out of this country is not a citizen?
We have now and have had for many years military parents serving all over the world who have had children.

No, McCain was the beneficiary of a proclamation by the Senate (and House?) that he is a natural-born citizen. That doesn't make it so. It simply raises the bar higher.
If McCain had won the election, you can be sure that his opponents would be challenging whether he was an NBC, in the hope that the Supreme Court would declare the Senate's proclamation unconstitutional.
If the Court decided to grant cert, they would decide whether McCain was an NBC, and the decision would stand until the Constitution was amended.
