One of the things that I learned in self defence is that there are 5 S”s”
Spirit - ability to maintain control of yourself and the situation.
Speed - faster hands will almost always beat slow hands
Skill - Knowing where and how to hit
Strength - Useful but rarely used in most fights
Stamina - being in good shape should the fight last more than a min is a good thing.... but you should be able to end the fight in under 15 seconds (see speed)
Pull gun.
Aim
Squeeze trigger
Squeeze again as needed.
BTW also works for fire extinguishers.
