I guarantee the folks who make the restaurant supplies, freezers, ranges, etc. are dying, too...

Ah, Obama may actually be keeping a campaign promise - no raised taxes on small business. He's going to put them out of business so they pay no taxes.

...maybe if someone would post a listing of pro-conservative businesses, we freepers could make it a point to shop appropriately...

Well, I'm a pro-conservative small business, located in the DFW area. I install and maintain metal rain gutter systems. My wife and I have been in business together for almost 14 years now.

Times are extremely tough for us. Our business once kept us in a fine home and new cars, but it's barely keeping my family fed these days.

Mostly, our problem is in promotion. If we could only find an affordable way to get the word out to the community, we'd likely get the business back to where it once was.

I'm not trying to use FR as an advertising outlet, but if anyone in the DFW area is looking for a professional gutter man to handle their rain gutters, I'm available.
