With Republicans growing ever more useless and clueless, it will be interesting to see Rush justify sticking with the GOP.

Rush’s basis for sticking with the idea of being against a 3rd party is that the conservatives can take the party back. So far, that hasn’t happened. I can’t see a possible GOP win with the same people in control in 2012. Of course the democrats will cheat, so we would need a strong and committed GOP. I just do not see that yet.

Either way could mean the reelection of the communist.

As we discovered in 1995, there are too many entrenched-pol Republicans, a whole bunch who signed on to the Contract in '94 as no more than a photo-op, they demonstrated they were not serious about its intent.

If there is indeed a backlash in 2010, the GOP defeats many of these newer conservative Dems to gain the majority, is there seriously a hope in heck that the real criminal corrupt Dems will be ousted, Frank, Conyers, Pelosi, Waters, Dingle, etc., etc., etc.?? For that matter, how many of those old-timer Republicans (I'm not talking age, I mean these members who have been there so long they have barnacles on their seats) will be defeated? Or will they more likely win re-election and maintain their power due to seniority, say "It's my turn again" to themselves??

I will be watching my fellow conservatives closely, are we actually going to hold some feet to the fire this time or are people going to pull out the tired old mantra again, the one that goes, "Well, the Dems are so much worse ..." ??
