Great idea! That can be accomplished by uniting under a party with strong conservative values instead of returning to the same party that rejects any notion of Conservatism in every election.

The socialists control the White House and Congress. I wouldn't exactly call that a sweeping victory by the OP in recent elections. An increasing number of Conservatives have read the hand writing on the wall and have no intention of returning.

The Republican Party had six years of effective control of the Federal government...six years that were pissed away on LBJ/FDR Big Government and Wilsonian foreign intervention.

So, pray tell, why exactly should voters return to their own political vomit, by following a Party whose leadership has no principles or convictions other than winning the next election? Do you really think people are that stupid?
