Laura Ingraham and Byron York are convinced that Chicago has it in the bag. They agree that he wouldn’t risk being shot down.
They may be right. But it could also be a sign of Obama’s arrogance. He seems to think that anyone who meets him will melt at his feet. I’m sure that hands have been greased for Chicago’s victory. But that doesn’t mean that the international committee will play by the rules Obama assumes they will. I hope, regardless of the winner, that someone will write and publish the back story after 2016.
