Speaking of which, what ever happened to feminists being outraged by an employer sleeping with an employee? Or did that all go by the wayside after the Lewinsky affair? What luck for Letterman that he came out as a raging lefty when he did, that should give him enough cover for whatever might be uncovered. A conservative Letterman? He'd be toast within days if not hours. Not to mention ol' Letterman wouldn't have been as desirable to the cute little liberal underlings that populate the entertainment industry if he leaned to the right. But the liberal Letterman? By the time the media is done spinning things people will end up feeling sorry for him and he'll be turned into a hero because he did it (standing up to the blackmailer, i mean) for his family's sake.
