On one level, I understand the point Whoopi was trying to make. She really wasn’t saying “I don’t think he RAPE raped her...” she was saying when referring to him and his CONVICTION, he was not convicted of “rape”, he was convicted of “Sex with a minor”, which still is technically “Statutory Rape”, but that’s not the technical law he was convicted of in 1978.
Well I would have to ask the sister of the guy who founded the blog, she is a retired prosecuting lawyer.
Anyone who would pay the slightest attention to the opinions of a girl named “Woopie” has got a problem. Unfortunately “Woopie” is what passes for an intellectual spokesman for the leftists today. Whoopie should be working with ACORN where pedophilia apparently is not a problem.
