Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is launching a political action committee and Web site Thursday as he continues to lay the groundwork for a potential presidential bid in 2012.

Another liberal RINO - just what we need. Sheeesh!
Big deal. Pawlenty will either dissolve his campaign before it really gets going, or will lose big in the first primary and will end the campaign. Besides, Romney will tap him to be VP if Romney wins the nomination.
But Pawlenty’s entry actually works in favor of conservatives, for the same reason a bunch of conservative candidates worked in the favor of Romney and McCain in 2008. The conservative vote was split among 2 or 3 candidates (Hunter, Thompson, Suckabee) and the result was a RINO nomination. But in 2012, if we have 1 strong conservative and 2 or 3 RINOs, the RINO vote will be split and the conservative candidate will win.
You go, big boy. Show us how to out-moderate McCain.
Are you going to push this guy too?
No. He’s too young.
Good, maybe he can pass higher “fees” (Theyre not tax raises!!!) and ban smoking federally too.
Welcome to Rinoville.
People who use government services should pay “fees” and they should not be subsidized by taxes. I am against smoking bans (but that’s the way it’s going to be eventually nationwide; some you win and some you lose).
Someone should send him a copy of Sarah’s book and tell him to save himself the trouble...
Naw, maybe it’s good another RINO enters the race ... split up that wussy moderate/RINO vote ... maybe make it easier for Palin to win.
Just what I was thinking. He could also split Huck’s evangelical-RINO vote. What I don’t like is additional conservatives (e.g., Santorum) or perceived conservatives (e.g., Gingrich) toying with a run.
Eggzactly.
Is Santorum thinking of running? ...
Ah yes, Gingrich ... politically, he’s sorta like an old girlfriend from your long ago youth that you broke up with (for good reason), who just can’t move on, doesn’t know it’s so over, and keeps showing up at your door with a goofy smile, LOL.
Ha! Especially the goofy smile!
Not sure how you can say that at this point, but I hope you are right.
That’s a good point.
