That is so true. Reminds me of the story of the EPA leadership in San Francisco who had huge ares of forest blocked off from use by the public for “conservation” and then had houses built way up in the forest where they lived. Couldn't let the common people mess up their “views”.

There is one form of “green” energy that could supply 10 giga watts (10 times the output of the Hoover Dam) with no pollution, no research and low capital costs- Harness the Gulf Stream for electricity 24/7. This ocean current is stable, one mile deep, 20 miles wide, and the facilities could be located on the sea floor.
The entire US eastern seaboard could be powered by the same forces that drive the weather.
Do not waste you time responding to me with all the reasons why this proposal will not work. Leave that to the environmental lobby. You know, the green (envious) hypocrites.
