I saw a “Single Payer Healthcare Now” bumper sticker on the floor of the Powell Street BART station in San Francisco. I haven’t seen any such stickers anywhere else.
I still shop at Whole Foods.

Everyone does have the RIGHT to healthcare. Just go to any hospital, they'll provide you with care. Go to a foot doctor, he'll take care of your athletes foot. Want insurance, go to an insurance company, they'll provide insurance.
Now whether someone can afford or are willing to pay for the service might be different.
I have the right to keep and bear arms.
Whether I chose or can afford to excercise that right is up to me.
Likewise, people have the right to healthcare.
Whether they chose or can afford to excercise that right is up to them.

When this happens, Whole Foods needs to play Slayer over the intercom.
Hippies hate Slayer.

They believe every human being has a right to healthcare?
But they don’t believe every human being has a right to shop where they choose?
Typical leftists.

“We believe that every human being has a right to health care”
And the Government has the right to force someone to give it?
Ironic that the Democrats once again represent the slave owners.

They walked in the store separately, band members and all, and spread out amongst the aisles. After pretending to shop for a few minutes, the mob made their way to the one spot in the store that had room for a dancing number. So some ACORN-like group hires 10 people to sing a song and dance and that's a threat? Everyone knows liberals do "rent-a-crowd" and "rent-a-goon" stuff. No one thinks they represent the people... no one... (well except the MSM-but only because they're fools)

There is a Whole Foods not too far from us that we had never visited until this boycott started.
DW and I have made a decision to make this our routine grocery store. Some of the prices are actually the best in town, and the others are decent. Overall we might end up spending a couple of bucks a week more, but the political statement is worth it.

If these guys think this will win them converts in the public they are delusional.
If I saw this happen I would gather up all the customers I could and point at the “singers” while laughing hysterically.
Self-centered brats hate to be humiliated in public.

So who’s going to be forced to provide it?

I gotta say that the first thing I thought when I saw the WFMI ceo come out with his comments (his very real legal right to make, btw), was that his publicly-traded co. could get some backlash over it, both from the sheep and indirectly from fedgov. It is any subtle harassment by fedgov that should be the greater concern.

I didn't' use to shop at Whole Foods because I thought their prices were way too high. The place is often called Whole Paycheck. I also think that this Organic Foods thing is about the third or forth biggest Fraud going on today. There's no credible evidence that Organic Food is any better for you than conventional food.
However since the Mackey article in WSJ I've shopped at Whole Foods at least 6 times. I thought Mackey was right on target about Medical Savings Accounts. Anyway Whole Foods has excellent Breads that are priced about the same as the other supermarkets. They have very good quality produce and some of it is competitively priced. I didn't purchase as much as I usually would at my regular Supermarket but I bought as much as I could find that was competitive in price and quality. I didn't see any protesters when I was at Whole Foods. I was hoping to. I was going to tell them that I never use to shop at Whole Foods but after seeing the protests I decided to shop there often. I just love getting into the faces of liberal self-rightous people. Just love it.

They all gathered right there in front of the refrigerated guac and salsa, singing their hearts out to the tune of Tony Basil's "Hey Mickey."
This probably sounds innocuous to a lot of people. But if they think they can get away with this, they might come back and start singing Avril Lavigne's "I Don't Like Your Girlfriend".
