The more I listen to Levin, the less I like him. His realm of the conservative movement is becoming irrelevant while Beck is literally knocking on Rush’s door in terms of importance. Let Levin and his boytoy Vannity repeat the same cliched phrases all day long, the rest of us have principals to uphold.

Well, I’m sorry you feel that way. While I’ll agree with you most certainly that Beck is uncovering(or helping to at least) a lot of stuff that is highly inconvenient to liberals and the complicit progressive media, Levin not only has his place but he’s a great asset.

The cliched phrases do get old, I’ll agree with you on that one, Levin has indeed earned the title “the great one”.

Have you read any of his books? That’s probably Levin’s strong suit. Give ‘liberty and tyranny’ a try.

False on both counts. Beck is having a meteoric rise to the top of the food chain, but he's not quite there yet. He needs to have sustained long-term success first. (Would we be talking about Beck's rise if not for Hannah Giles and James O'Keefe? We should be talking about Breitbart's rise too.) It's also a little silly to say that Levin's "realm" is irrelevant: have you read Men in Black and/or Liberty and Tyranny at all?

Enough with the circular firing squad.

Okay. So...you think “the rest of you” are doing the heavy lifting in comparison to Mark Levin when it comes to upholding principals?

Really?

"Beck is literally knocking on Rush’s door in terms of importance."

I have been around FR for a long time, under two different ID's, but I have NEVER read a more ignorant comment as this. You are now #1 on the list of DumbS&^% posters....

Levin has always been my least favorite conservative commentator. The guy is just simply not a deep thinker. His radio show consists of a bunch of ad hominem attacks and a strict ideology. He’s not a guy like Limbaugh or Savage who can win you over with solid arguments and oratorial genius. Nor a guy who digs like Beck does.

Levin frankly bores me. Our local talk radio station replaced Savage with this dope, only to hear him say “You big dope!” about a dozen times an hour. Not impressed.

Yep, Over one million books sold on the constitution and the man is irrelevant. riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. You're new around these parts, aren't ya, bunky? Soooooooo, I guess holding up conservative principles is cliche? So I guess have a scholarly work that has overnight become a classic conservative work is cliche'. Soooooooo, How many high school principals do you hold up? You must be an NEA member. Beck is a wonderfully entertaining man, but a stalwart of conservativism, ah, oh not so much. A scholarly researcher with original ideas? also a big fat no. He'd go a long way if he was persistent in atributing his statements to their original owners. His arrogance his breathtaking. "Follow me"? Follow a self described alchoholic rodeo clown? Sniff, sniff, sniff. I think not. Again, he's a talented funny guy and I can enjoy his show, however, he needs to be careful about quoting from the people he's read without noting to the viewer or listener that the thought came directly from X. Very careful.

Rush, Hannity, Levin, and Medved only want to eclipse the dems....it is not about improving the country, or returning to the smaller govt concept we came from, but WINNING ELECTIONS. . . l. . . . It is D vs R, and a victory for the R is more important than the country.

very well said. I stopped paying any attention to Hannity when he insisted on blowing his buddy, the northeastern liberal elite rooty toot, every damn night on TV and during the day on his radio show. Beck is indeed approaching Rush in quite a few different areas and Rush has been big enough to acknowledge Glenn positively recently. the fact that Levin and Hannity reportedly (by what I have read here on FR) will not/have not mentioned Beck says a lot...

You sound like a sophomore in college trying to upstage a professor.

What an a**-clown thing to say.

People will start to tune out Mark Levin like they tuned out Mike Savage for the very reason that both are attacking our own instead of building on eachother's strengths.
I know Glenn Beck would be willing to go on a show and have a truce with Mark Levin, but, would Mark Levin be willing to go on a show and have a truce with Glenn ?
Cut the crap out Mark, look at the big picture.
