By saying that Republican John McCain would have been a worse president than Barack Obama............
(I have no use for the rest of this website's drivel. I just want the substance of what Beck said)

I feel the same, I like Levin and Beck. As far as McCain is concerned, I remember the sinking feeling I had when he started winning primaries. He had been a media darling, of sorts, and I couldn’t imagine the media making nice over a republican. I feel like the media selected him because they thought he couldn’t win.
Yep, it must be.
The days before and after 8/25, Glenn quoted founding fathers, listed questions on his chalkboard, and played sound bites of Van Jones, Mark Lloyd. He also, posted an In or Out for 2010 poster.
Is that copyright material of Mark Levin? So Levin is claiming original material on the words of the founding fathers, honest questions, and soundbites?
Mark is being deceptive and dillusional. He won’t present any evidence against Beck, because he HAS NONE!
Mark isn’t the only one Beck has borrowed from and he’s not the only one p.o.’ed about it. Just as O’Reilly takes credit for Glenn’s reporting, Beck does his share as well and it’s unfair.
I’ve been listening to Mark for years and have watched Beck since his show started on CNN and there are many examples of Beck taking Mark’s long researched material and repeating it as if it was his own. Compound that by Glenn using Mark’s theme song as his bumper music on more than one occasion and it seems to me that Glenn does it purposely (albeit very effectively).
There is no doubt that between the two Mark is the intellectual heavy-hitter while Glenn is a self-described “rodeo clown”. I like them both but Glenn should give credit where credit is due. It’s only fair.
Mark has played sound bites of Beck’s rip offs other than the paragraph from his book, in Beck’s own voice, that I’ve heard with my own ears along with many other FReepers that listen to his show.
But you’re right, we, including Mark, an officer of the court, are all liars driven by jealousy. Your keen insight must searve you well.
Here are two posts from Levin. So Levin is saying that Glenn is taking his work by mentioning Alinksy, Cass Sunstein, and the transformation of America? I don’t get his beef...where is the substance? Make the case Mark not just rants!

you are very kind, thank you; sunstein and the transformation effort, etc., are all right there in the book, as you know then. more voices the better.
Ah the Hebrew hot dog joke? Didn’t like a Rush make the same joke too? So is Rush ripping of Mark too? Huh?
In fairness, of all the Pubs the only one I sorta kinda liked was Hunter and he had all the charisma of a high school disciplinarian.
What McCain did for us, though, was give us Sarah and for that I'll be always grateful.
Again, you quote it.
Transcribe it. I have no need to do the work for you.
If it’s so easy, then you should have no problem doing it. I have no reason to go in and prove you right. You, however feel a need to quote it and if YOU find it credible, YOU trascribe it.
But be sure to include the show that Beck said what Mark is upset about and exactly what he said. Otherwise, it’s hearsay. Period.
And if you’re going to continue to get smarmy with me, I will simply ignore you. I also have no need to discuss anything with someone with attitude.
Mark has cited the instances on his show. Sorry I do not document them or have the shows recorded.
Well you’re not thinking of Mark Levin. Look THAT up.
“Truth hurts, huh? “
Nope. Now you sound like a *flunking* sophomore in college trying to upstage a professor.
If you dont like a particular talk radio personality, I have a simple solution: Change the channel.
With THAT voice? Impossible!
I have a better idea. Why don’t you ask him?
I most certainly AM thinking of Mark Levin. Mark Levin went on cable shows in the mid 90s, most notably Geraldo on CNBC, defending OJ.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but it is true, and I am sure there are plenty of Freepers who also remember.
“And I really don’t even hate McCain. “
Give it time.
Agreed to on all counts. Well stated.
“I think Mark needs to cool it.”
I agree. A few months ago he started making snide remarks about “somebody” specific and I didn’t get it. As things progressed, it was pretty clear it was Beck. Then it was obvious it was Beck. Sounded like little-girl sixth-grade stuff. Sheesh. Jealousy for the popularity popped in to my mind, but I don’t know. Every one of the guys has his own niche; they should all respect that.
I can see how younger people could relate better to Beck’s style than Levin’s. That’s a good thing — as long as they’re learning.
So if Beck mentions Sunstein or Alinsky that is ripping off Mark? Then Rush must be doing it along with Hannity, too, because they all mention them... and would Mark prefer people who didn’t read his books or listen to his radio show be uninformed about how dangerous those two were rather than have another commentator mention a “public” figure like those two are/were? My goodness do a google and see the number of articles on these men... and no one has done more about Sunstein than WND...
Criminal law is NOT Mark’s field. Constitutional Law is. And he’s no fan of Geraldo.
Of course not. Beck has read from "Liberty and Tyranny" without giving attribution. Huge difference.
Mark has said on his show that after he's mentioned something that others have picked up on, he's quick to say he said it first but the important thing is that it's getting out there. Mark has also given Beck props for dogging the Van Jones issue.
Now that did tick me off!!!
