Does anyone in this country have the cajones to put a stop to this President? We continually allow our country to get slapped in the face at every turn. This has got to stop!
I’m sorry, but I cannot agree with the sentiment that religious belief, even one as wrong as being a Muslim, should disqualify you from employment in law enforcement, the military, or DHS, or other jobs where you are expected to defend America.
It is too broad a brush in my opinion. I know that others strongly believe that no Muslim can be trusted at all; of course, I know people who believe the same about certain types of Christians, or Mormons, or Jews, or people of other faiths.
It is a downside to a pluralistic society that respects freedom of religion, that this means having to turn a somewhat blind eye to what we know to be belief in false religions, lest people who dislike our religions use our precedent to equally discriminate against us.

And in a few years, we’ll hear breaking news about how Arif Alikhan has been arrested for passing sensitive information on to islamic terror groups.
That bast*rd is going to turn us into a Muslim country - just watch ...
Alikhan is strongly anti-Israel; he has referred to the terrorist organization Hezbollah as a liberation movement. Hezbollah is on the U.S. official terrorist list while being an affiliate of the Muslim Public Affairs Council. Alikhan also opposed President George W. Bushs prosecution of the war on Islamic terror.
NO, we dont. We will sit around and talk about until we have NOTHING left. What to do, what to do.
In the latest sign that the Muslim American community is becoming better organized and more activist, a book with the résumés of 45 successful Muslim Americans was submitted to the White House in the hopes they will be considered for some of the thousands of jobs that have yet to be filled.
Muslim Americans overwhelmingly supported Barak Obama during the campaign and community leaders, including the first Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison, want to ensure they are considered for positions in the new administration. article
Yes, you are RIGHT.
Not good. Bush appointed a few Muslims to high-level jobs in the Pentagon and elsewhere (e.g., Hesham Islam). But that was just a matter of not being seen as anti-Islam.
With Obama, I’m afraid it’s part of a considered policy of favoring Islam and undermining American defenses.
I believe you carry this a bit far. We can’t sit back and ignore what has happened in this world during the last few years. If we do, we are fools. It has been muslims that have caused distruction in the middle east. Now, all muslims aren’t bad, I agree. But enough of them have turned against the world that we must be watchful of all of them. Now they are developing Nuclear weapons. Do we wait until they use them? I don’t think so.

THIS POST CONTAINS ERRONEOUS OR UNSUBSTANTIATED INFORMATION
Obama appoints a radical Muslim to top position in the Department of Home Security
UPDATE: I posted this yesterday. Our fellow contributor Epaminondas points out that there is no actual documentary evidence that Alikhan ever supported Hezbollah.
Therefore, I believe it was wrong for me to post this, and I apologize to Mr. Alikhan. Consider this a retraction. I will not throw it down the memory hole by simply removing it from the blog, because I consider that to be a cowardly maneuver. I made a mistake, and I will man up and admit it.

In 2007, Alikhan was instrumental in removing the Muslim terror tracking plan in Los Angeles. The Muslim 'Mapping' Plan of the Los Angeles Police Department is now dead on arrival according to Chief William Bratton. It is over and not just put on the side, said Chief Bratton in a meeting with the Muslim leadership of Southern California at that time. The meeting was moderated by Arif Alikhan.
During his years in Los Angeles, Alikhan was responsible for derailing the Police Departments plan to monitor activities within the Los Angeles Muslim community, where numerous radical mosques and madrassas existed, and where some of the 9/11 hijackers had received support from local residents.
It's not that he is Muslim, it is that he has a history of undermining national security. And this is no broad brush, they are specifically discussing the actions of the individual(s) in question. Do you really want someone like that in a position of power in the DHS?
On page 261 of the Audacity of Hope, Obama wrote: In the wake of 9/11..., I will stand with the [Muslims] should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.
That is the point. Obama did say in his book, when the political winds shift, he would stand Muslim. Oh never mind, no one believed it...
Bump for later.
