Muslims need to do this more often and turn in the terrorists, or the backlash they get will only increase. I know, not every muslim is a terrorist, but the vast majority of terrorists are muslim.

possible.
but in my line of work, the simplest explanation is usually the right one. criminals are stupid and are unable to keep their mouths shut.
they eventually seek help from people who are not as interested in criminal activity as they are.
informants are everywhere. i've arrested people for tiny little charges and they are ready to give up their mother to get out of a night in jail.
it is very difficult to plan/carry out a terror plot in todays NYC for these and many other reasons.

He didn’t turn in the terrorist, he told him the Feds were after him...
“In court records released Sunday, authorities allege Afzali, 37, tipped off suspected plotter Najibullah Zazi that federal agents were looking to arrest him and then lied to police about what he had done, The New York Times reported Monday.”

Maybe under the old regime, this may have been true, but under the new-fangled Kinder, Gentler, War on Terror, these men have already lawyered up, and are, by all accounts, not talking.... You might be surprised.... I think Weak and ineffectual leadership will probably lead to a greater likelihood of using highly unpleasant tactics. All it takes is one incident.

I think you misunderstand the post. The muslim informant ratted out to the terrorist what he had learned from the FBI about the coming raid. He wasn’t helping out, he showed his true colors. He is also under indictment from what an article that was posted yesterday said.

The FBI gets almost all of its arrests from tips by informers.
But there’s a real problem finding Muslim informers. I think the CIA and the FBI both have had this problem, and that their “informers” are largely, or almost entirely, double agents, who are really working for the advancement of Islam.
When we first went into Iraq, the CIA proved totally incapable of tracking down any al Qaeda agents in Iraq. Military intelligence took over, and immediately did better.
But I think that the Pentagon, the CIA, and the FBI are stuffed full of Muslim agents who are working for the other side. Just google the name “Hesham Islam” for an instance. There are plenty more of his kind working for the government.

Didya hear the one about the Imam who dropped a dime and tipped-off a Muslim Terror suspect? He used Jihadi WorldCom and only paid six cents a minaret...

Liberals invariably accuse others of doing what they themselves are doing.
They are doing it far more, and with more malice.

Why on earth would the police share sensitive information with ANY Muslim, let alone an “iman?” Someone needs to be fired here. Perhaps they are believing the government's own PC propaganda about Islam being an “religion of peace” with only a handful of extremists advocating and practicing violence. The fact is that none of them can be fully trusted.
