My wife apparently had the swine flu a week ago, she didn’t consult a doctor, she ran a fever and felt lousy for three days and it will take a week or two to regain full strength.

This is nothing like the Hong Kong flu of 1968. I had that at the age of 24 and very nearly died, my fever went to 105 with continous hallucinations and pain that felt as though I had been beaten head to toe with a large stick.

How did you know it was the swine flu? My husband had the flu in July...was sick for a few days....wondering what it was.
