12.4 percent preferred former Massachustts governor and presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Other strong contenders included Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who won over 12.23 percent of conservative voters. Former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Indiana Rep. Mike Pence came out in in a virtual tie at 12.06 percent and 11.89 percent, respectively.

OK. The difference between Romney and Pawlenty was 0.17

The difference between Pawlenty and Palin was 0.17

The difference between Palin and Pence was 0.17

But for some reason, the reporter thinks Palin and Pence were "virtually tied", while the others were not.

If 0.17 is a "virtual tie", then really all 4 of these candidates were in a "virtual tie".

Yeah, that Julie Banderas idiot is the one that spewed that “virtually tied” crap. She seriously hates Sarah. Notice when she mentions her name, the look on her face, the disgust, but when she mentions Obama her face glows. Straw polls are meaningless at this point. We are what, 3 years away from the election. Does anyone know what will happen between now and 3 years from now. Heck, who knows what will happen tomorrow. Will Sarah run for President, who knows, no one knows, I doubt she even knows. Polls are just meant to make the winner feel big. I can care less about some idiotic poll about an event that is not even happening right now
