Read something today on American Thinker about how they are helpless to deal with the Tea Partiers because we don't have a leader, per see. The Alinsky techniques don't work against a genuine mass grassroots uprising, because they can't "isolate, personalize, freeze" a particular individual. "Individuals hurt, institutions not so much."
Well...a couple of individuals just made an institution -- ACORN -- hurt very badly.
The Rulebook's rules aren't working.

You’d think they wouldn’t want to admit they have been weak and deceptive and that now they are going to change their game plan and try something completely new by responding with actual facts.
And why do they need a special website to respond with ‘facts’? Are all their other standard channels of communication THAT choked with lies that they had to create a special place where they’ll actually respond truthfully? I wonder what they think ‘forceful’ means because they have been trying to force the entire nation to shut up and accept their dictates..
