Rose Out of 3rd Dist. Congressional Race

Citing his doctors advice, Steve Rose has dropped out of the U.S. congressional race for the 3rd District in Kansas. The head of Sun Publications, Rose states that the “extraordinary stress” of his young campaign has already caused a major flare-up of his Chron’s Disease, leading to this decision.

Last week, Rose told KMBZ that he was dissatisfied with current 3rd Dist. Congressman Dennis Moore, and threw his hat into the ring.

Well that was quick. Lightner must be thrilled - Rose was the only moderate that could really give her a run for her money - but I imagine Moore is even more thrilled.
