A RWJF survey summarized in the September 14, 2009 edition of the New England Journal of Medicine shows that 62.9 percent of physicians nationwide support proposals to expand health care coverage that include both public and private insurance optionswhere people under the age of 65 would have the choice of enrolling in a new public health insurance plan (like Medicare) or in private plans. The survey shows that just 27.3 percent of physicians support a new program that does not include a public option and instead provides subsidies for low-income people to purchase private insurance. Only 9.6 percent of doctors nationwide support a system where a Medicare-like public program is created in lieu of any private insurance. A majority of physicians (58%) also support expanding Medicare eligibility to those between the ages of 55 and 64.
In every region of the country, a majority of physicians supported a combination of public and private options, as did physicians who identified themselves as primary care providers, surgeons, or other medical subspecialists. Among those who identified themselves as members of the American Medical Association, 62.2 percent favored both the public and private options.

Yup, he is. Good catch.
Yep.
This is crap.
How many actually answered the survey?
Those Doctors on SALARY at government jobs have a lot more time on their hands than the average MD.
Also, where did the NAMES come from? The AMA list is more liberal than Docs at large.
Further, how well did they REALLY explain the questions?
They are asking, for instance, if an “expanded Medicare” type of Government Option would be acceptable.
Funny, I have not seen an actual BILL that does this!
Bait and Switch!
Ahhh, yep. Here we go. I found one.

Which as you can see is from Soros’ website. It says this:
========In 1995, PDIA joined forces with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Nathan Cummings Foundation, the Rockefeller Family Office, and the Commonwealth Fund to form Grantmakers Concerned with Care at the End of Life.==========
I gotta call BS on this one!
My physician and I got into a conversation last week about Zer0care, and she blurted out at the end of the conversation:
“He - he’s a communist!

The AMA is basically a union - and not all doctors belong...
I wouldn't be surprised. They have always been associated with the Left. I can tell you that they undoubtedly like ObamaCare in general and I wouldn't trust the accuracy of any of their polling.
It would be interesting to check out who supports RWJF and where their political contributions go.
Thanks for the ping!
Thanks justiceseeker93.
and not all doctors belong...
IIRC the membership is less than 20% of doctors.
