Racism is driving anti-Obama protests, says Carter

The former American president Jimmy Carter says racism and fear is driving the wave of anger directed at Barack Obama as he tries to drive through comprehensive reform of the US healthcare system.
The 84-year-old included in his analysis the heckling of a Republican lawmaker, who shouted out "You lie" at President Obama during his speech to Congress last Wednesday.
“I think that an overwhelming proportion of the intensely-demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, he’s African-American,” Mr Carter told NBC television, in a potentially explosive intervention in national politics.
“I live in the South, and I have seen the South come a long way. But that racism inclination still exists, and I think it has bubbled up to the surface because of a belief among many white people, not just in the South but across the country, that African-Americans are not qualified to lead this great country.

The only good thing Carter ever done (besides marrying Rosalyn) is the ‘Habitat for Humanity’ organization.

So then.....even worse racism existed against Bush, roughly 90% of African Americans voted against him in two elections. The rhetoric against him was vile and inaccurate.
I sorry, but you must look at this from both directions.
He plays the race card by calling people "racist" as his only defense when person of color screws up.

“O” and Co. are attempting nothing short of the complete and irreversible nationalization of American life, and are manipulating the media, education religion, etc. to accomplish their agenda.
The “O” administration is unapologetic Liberalism fully expressed and finally in the center ring. No more furtive operations or covert objectives for them, now. This is the all or nothing roll of the dice for every Liberal in American politics, and the claim that objections are racially motivated is a further effort on the part of Liberals to divert attention from their REAL motives.
What they whispered among themselves for decades is now arrogantly articulated just as if all Liberal plans for America are and ought always to be incontestable … as if the support of only HALF the country is sufficient margin to claim wholesale affirmation.

Let me see if I have this right. I am opposed to Obama's health care plan. The only reason, Cotter says, is that I am a racist.
This means, for him, that if we replaced Obama with a white person (say, John McCain) I would now be in favor of the same health care plan.
So I would turn down a plan I like solely because it was proposed by a black president and choose to go with something not as good just because I am a racist.
But the truth is that I am opposed to the health care plan no matter who proposes it.
I am opposed to the PLAN not the PERSON or the RACE of the person.
Can Cotter or ANY race-baiter understand this? I think Cotter (even with his degree in nookyuler engineering) is just stupid or evil or both. I know the other race baiters are also just stupid or evil or both.
