The pictures of this city remind me of what a lot of America use to look like, beautiful. I can remember walking down the street and being alarmed at seeing a single gum wrapper on the street. Many of our cities use to look like picture postcards of Switzerland. Not anymore. More cities look like Tijuana than Geneva.

Yes. I live in Southern California, near the beach, and I grew up here. I grew up in a paradise. We could leave our screen door unlocked and our door open. We could walk at any hour of the night. Now, you need a small thermonuclear device to take a stroll at noon. And yes,
