I guess they are celebrating that the financial collapse was what put them over the top in the polls before the election. I’ve captured that portion of the article with the “PrintScreen” key. Others should do the same before the story is changed and the quote disappears.

SOMEONE please put forth in a loud voice an amendment to the effect of an IRON CLAD, no way out of it words in this bill which says that the President, Vice President, cabinet, czars, and all in Congress who vote FOR this bill will be under its provisions and automatically enrolled in it forever, even after they are back in private life (which will be soon)...further that this applies to their entire family. If they are so sold on it and are telling the truth, we want a simple commitment from them...call it good faith. If they will do that, I will feel a tiny bit better about it. This is a simple put up or shut up argument and is something we all understand. Call it YOU FIRST CONGRESSMAN! We need to focus like a laser beam on this one point instead of being all over the place. They are trying to make us lose by obscuring things with lots of words. Keep it simple. YOU FIRST PRESIDENT. If for some reason it can’t apply to him while President, then he can have it the minute he is no longer Pres.

They will ram it through, but it does not get implemented until 2003. A national referendum on Obama and his outlandish plans will be very entertaining.

I expect that many Democrats in Congress will be quite surprised after the November election when they are out of a job.

on Monday, we celebrate the anniversary of the Lehman Brothers collapse that caused a financial catastrophe unlike anything we've ever seen," said spokesman Robert Gibbs.

Celebrate? WTF...! Oh, that's right, never let a crisis go to waste....

YES!!! We cannot allow them to pass the thing and then a year later say, “See? Nothing happened! You got all wee weed up for nothing!” So zer0 gets reelected, and it goes into effect in 2013. People realize the truth, but it’s ‘way too late.

“I think what the American people want most of all... is for Washington to put aside the game playing and start to begin to solve the very big problems that our country faces,” he told CNN television.

REALLY? Really? I thought what we really wanted was what we are saying we want which is for Washington to STOP solving “problems” and leave us alone.

Guess we weren’t clear enough for them to hear. What to do? Say it in Spanish? Do a sit-in? How frustrating to hear someone take your message and FLIP IT in the total opposite direction. LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE. Besides what is “start to begin??” WE WANT Washington to start to END what they are calling problem solving. We will solve our OWN problems because we are AMERICANS and GROWN UPS.

Not only did I notice, I called everyone I knew and posted everywhere I could post with pictures, video, etc. Nothing I’m saying is to take away from the spectacular display of patriotism yesterday. It rocked my world.

I’m really talking more about Hannity, Rush, Beck and others who are spending so much time on Joe Wilson or other issues. I know they are all great patriots as well and I appreciate all they’ve done but Obama has waited until after the August recess for this big push because it’s harder for us to dispute him on every point without the almost daily Townhalls. They’re putting out lies daily about our “recovering economy” and how healthcare is now what’s needed to fix the country.

If I didn’t work with so many of these sheeple, I guess I wouldn’t worry so much but they’re easily swayed, believe me.

American anger at how much has been spent propping up the US economy

Correction: "American anger at how much has been spent wrecking the economy and propping up ACORN and the unions. And of course, Nancy Pelosi's frogs."

They can promise that all day long. Their promises have expiry dates, and there’s no iron-clad guarantee that they will comply once they have subjugated those who can enforce it.

I will never believe anything they say or promise. I understand all three words in “lying fascist bastids.”

American anger at how much has been spent propping up the US economy will not persuade President Barack Obama to row back on his ambitious health care reform plans, the White House said Sunday.

That boy is plainly stupid.

Getting back out where? There are no more town halls. I guess you missed the march on DC yesterday and the hundreds of marches across the country that were tied to it. You don’t call that getting out there? The media buries everything all we can do is fight the good fight, if worse comes to worse fight it with the 10th amendment if they pass it. I am afraid that taking our country back with votes may not be possible.

The people, like you, have done a great job. It's frustrating that the media indeed buries it yet they had to report on the march yesterday because it was too big to ignore. I'll say it again, the American people are doing a great job, yesterday just unbelievable, and I am not trying to take away from that in any way.

I'm just giving my opinion on what is happening now and in the immediate future. Obama is 100% on healthcare right now, making it sound like none of the bad stuff is in there anymore, and I think our public figures (not grassroots) should go back to hammering the health bill out clause by clause because otherwise many will believe The One. IMHO
