Not a surprise.
When Boma was giving his speech the other night, a camera
shot of her sitting with a look of concern, not cheering on.

Am no fan of DiFi but on few occasions she will give more thought to a bill unlike Babs Botoxer who is down the line
Left.

Don’t trust her!

Exactly. These liberals put self interest above all else, no principles, no scruples. She is sensing trouble in paradise.

The cameras at one point during Obama’s speech panned Senator Feinstein. Everyone around her was clapping like crazy and she just sat there with a benign look on her face and was definitely not clapping. At the time I thought it was odd. We will most certainly be calling her office next week. What the heck. Boxer on the other hand is a lost cause.

Feinstein will vote for Obamacare, in spite of the disaster it obviously will be. She will dutifully vote “yea” because it is more important to close ranks with the Party and win one for the team than to do the responsible and prudent thing and vote “no.”

She goes with waht the polls say. I was going to write that she was a poll watcher, but that seems so wrong.

"Universal health care has been the liberal wet dream of the past 97 years."

That's a terribly precise number.

“We can’t afford “free healthcare” at this time.”

We can’t afford “free healthcare” EVER.

There is a practical reason our Founding Fathers wanted limited government.

The federal government is an incompetent landlord.

if difi is saying this, i must rethink my position on this issue, i haven’t agreed with one thing she has said in 30 years.
At least she is still ugly, in this respct dems rarely disappoint.

Feinstein is 100% in favor of “insider” capitalism — as long as it enriches her hubby’s business enterprises. Obama must be putting the pinch on some of her crony-capitalist sweetheart deals.

Under the Interstate Commerce Clause [ ICC ], congress could indeed open insurance competition across state lines.

Oh no, here we go again: using the Interstate Commerce Clause to help concentrate more power into Washington & away from the states. I thought that tyrannical mindset was one of the many things that today's protest was supposed to be AGAINST!

Sure, I would love to see the American people have the choice of buying insurance from any company across the nation -- but does it have to be done via the force of the federal government? Can't We The People get more involved in our own state government & have the state legislatures make the changes themselves?

AGAIN, I say that the Republicans are no different from the Dims when it comes to twisting the meaning of the ICC, ignoring the 10th Amendment, & empowering the feds over the states...it's just the specific issues on which they disagree. The end result has proven to be a massive irresponsible behemoth lovated in D.C.

Bet you are correct about Bama squeeze on Feinstein’s financial ‘empire’ somehow. Feinstein also caused a flap objecting when Leon Panetta got hired to lead the CIA. There’s some love lost between DiFi and the Zero—maybe more stuff hidden behind the scenes.

And why was she chosen to MC the inauguration stage? Bama placating her somehow?

Did you see Glen Beck's 2 hour TV show today ?
At one part, he told the audience that some really big Democrat in whom we would know who is a big power shaker in Washington called him on the phone, he said many of us would know who it is if he were to tell us and that this person agrees with Beck about taking back America and getting rid of corruption but the powers to be have their hands around this person's neck to say anything to change things.

Feinstein most likely favors a one-payer system i.e. the government, but she’s probably looked at the numbers (and her own chances of re-election) and figured out they don’t add up. I’d bet many Dems, even the hard leftists, are looking at Obama’s health-care pipe dream and are concluding it’s more like a crack-pipe dream. From a crackpot.
