The historical events of Lexington and Concord in 1776 will look like a picnic compared to the angry... probable violent reaction if Hannah Giles and James O'Keefe are charged with a crime by that corrupt D'rat state.

The penalty for those kids could be 5 years in prison... Over my dead body, what about you?

It wouldn't be a bit surprising if Maryland looked for an excuse to legally harass these people. Meanwhile....in the city of Baltimore a vicious crime spree is raging and Dems do nothing about it.

I get to live in Maryland.

Remember the impeachment tapes? Maryland prosecuted Linda Tripp but it eventually got thrown out because the evidence (tapes) was protected by federal immunity. That was in the Ellicott City Court house in Maryland. She lived in MD and taped Monica who lived in DC which had no law on taping over the phone(this MD law is used solely to protect democrats here)

Maryland law technically gives an out for those recording crimes. So going after Hannah Giles and James O’Keefe by liberal Baltimore City would look real good on FNC given all Obama’s other growing problems. Imagine Megn Kelly reporting on that story, as she has been on ACORNs case since last summer. We will see.

It is not 2008 and Democrats are under fire from all directions now. Make my day.

This would be like punishing the Berkeley cop for catching the creep that raped that little girl for 19 years.

In most places, the death of a public servant is tragic.
In some places, its legitimate cause for celebration.

These anti-taping laws were passed by crooked politicians who were tired of being caught stuffing their trouser pockets time after time on video. They should all be repealed.

They are not going to prosecute. This is a poly trying to stop any more of the tapes(which by now even the liberals should have figured that there are more of them)from being released and aired. It is not illegal to do what they did, if it was then store cams are illegal. Phone tapping is illegal but they didn’t phone tap. The people who did this checked out the law before hand, you can bet on it.

I looked up the MD law. It pertains to:

“wire, oral, or electronic communication”

A videotape is obviously not a wire communication. It’s not electronic. So the question is whether “oral communication” includes videotape.

Whatever, this is so stupid. They would never get a conviction.

I’m with you. If there is any hope for our republic, every red-blooded and able-bodied American should be ready and willing to descend on Baltimore to tear the place apart if those corrupt clowns pursue this.

Analysis of Maryland interception law done at time of Linda Tripp/Lewinsky controversy:

www.rightgrrl.com/tripp/woods.html

I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the article, whether or not there are Maryland cases interpreting the statue, or whether the statute has been amended since the article was written. But there are a number of legal wrinkles, such as, what is an intercept, what is an acquisition, etc., that make the legal issue unclear in this context(at least to me, a retired lawyer).

As far as I'm concerned, it's racism. Google the corrupt broad. Color matters above the law to these bozos.

If the Baltimore city state’s attorney tries to indict these folks the good people of Maryland should rise up and stone him.

Md. to prosecute video makers . Right ,, For a misdemeanor . The ACORN employees are guilty of fellonies . I did this once to a government employee ,,, I recorder a phone conversation with a Govt. employee in the act of colusion using a lot of taxpayer funds . I surprised a politition by playing the tape which really irritated them . I was threatened later with a law suit for unlawful taping of a phone conversation which was then a misdemeanor . I told the A.G. I would take my chances in court . Guess what they did ??? They fired the govt. employee and gave me a verbal lesson on the laws regarding unlawful taping of phone calls . I won the arguement which led to our company recieving the contract that we had won in open competition .
