The H/T goes to Sound off Connecticut regular Jim Geraghty over at National Review, but the credit all goes to the Senior Senator. Rasmassusen reports he still trails Rob Simmons badly. Heck, he trails everyone badly. Quote of the day."Typically, when an incumbent polls below 50%, they are considered potentially vulnerable. Dodd certainly falls into that category."

we should win CT and NV. If The Chosen One continues his policies I think even NY and CA wins are real possibilities.
How about those Tarheels today!!!!!!!!!! ;)
Governor Patterson who is as blind as a bat, and dumb as a post, has put NY in play. Add Charlie Rangle, and Gerald Nadler, Schmuckie Schumer, and there could be a real turn....maybe. It’s still NY afer all.
Not if they are replaced with the “run of the mill” northeastern RINO. These positions need REAL conservatives.
there are some rumors that (former Gov) Pataki might run for Senate in NY. I really hope that. He won statewide elections three times and is a well-known true conservative. If GOP wants to win in NY it needs a superstar candidate and a lot of luck. I think only Pataki or Guliani of potential GOP candidates have any chances in NY. Little-known candidates (no matter how good) just can’t compete in expensive market like NY, in a blue state.
Well your Tarheels SQUEAK OUT a 2 point win today at the Rent. More of it was how MY HUSKIES FALLING APART after 45 minutes wearing YOUR TARHEELS down. :p
Today: Wolfpack - 65, Murray State - 7
Last year: Wolfpack - 41, Tarheels - 10
‘Nuff said.....cannot wait to roast some sheep this year.
Wolfpact....hmmm...is it true that Robert Gibbs is an NC State grad? Just askin’...
Damn, you’re right. That certainly sucks. Gee, you’d think someone of that low-level honesty would’ve been a Political Science grad at UNC.
:-)
I guess y’all can claim credit for Mike Easley, though.
That hurts...but, in the interest of full disclosure, not as bad as Chrissy Matthews being a UNC grad.
Pataki won in 1994 as a nobody State Senator. He won it on the 65 mph speed limit. Contrary to what Mario Cuomo will tell you. Mario said “the speed limit in NY will remain 55 mph as long as I am governor”. All those liberals drving up I-87 to their summer places on Lake George, voted his sorry ass out, just to get the speed limit raised.
Mario would have you believe that it was about the death penalty...it was not. The death penalty for a murderer does not affect me on a day to day basis. The speed limit does.
Pataki was not a true conservative by any stretch of the imagination. But he at least tried.
Pataki won by a landslide in 2003 (third time). He was a proven-tax cutter. If some RINO Senate Centrist Coalition member advocating CFR which took away constitutional (free-speech) rights from every American can be labeled “true conservative” then Pataki would certainly be super true conservative.
Dang, Dude, didn’t realize that. I truly am sorry for you.
:-)
I hope Giuliani runs - he said he’ll decide in January.
I believe Cuomo, Jr. may be running - I hope NOT! His father was a disaster.
Not if the unions and ACORN have any say.
Sorry, but your claim of Pataki being a “true” conservative is laughable.
He is conservative in the N.E., just because they are just this side of being Marxist.
Pataki whole-heartedly supports Abortion Rights, Half-way supports the Gay and Lesbian agenda, is weak on Oil and the Global Warming scam, is very weak on the 2nd amendment, etc.
