Actually, I was there Thursday and said my prayers before having to come home only because of necessary obligations yesterday and this morning.
We did make a few historical stops on our trip such as Harper's Ferry and Appomattox. I was thought about all of those who gave their lives over divided idealism in our country. We are again fragmented and the troops are preparing.
As we also visited Monticello, I couldn't help but wonder what TJ would think and say today.
